AwF Volunteers update
Category:News ReleasesWe are delighted to announce that Cormac O’Sullivan (Canada) and Ignacio Llorente Garcia (Spain) have agreed to work with AwF to ensure that we have a better system and arrangement with the marvellous volunteers who have engaged with our organization. Cormac has spent a lot of time to get the database up to date and this week we will be sending out a survey to these volunteers, and through our connections on Facebook and LinkedIn, to collect current information for future activities.
The survey for volunteers is available via the following link:

If you are interested in volunteering with us, please complete the survey as quickly as possible so that we can get the records up to date.
Through our association with the Alliance Against Hunger and Malnutrition, we understand that this year has been declared the “International Year of Family Farming”. This has been confirmed through the 66th session of the General Assembly of the United Nations.
The 2014 IYFF aims to raise the profile of family farming and smallholder farming by focusing the world’s attention on each significant role in eradicating hunger and poverty, providing food security and nutrition, improving livelihoods, managing natural resources, protecting the environment, and achieving sustainable development.
We are aiming to engage in this program by ensuring aquaculture is not forgotten. Please refer to:
