Aquaculture without Frontiers (AwF) teaches poor families in developing countries to farm fish to feed themselves and create income.
Since its formation in 2004, AwF has provided assistance in many countries, including Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Malawi, Nepal and Thailand. Currently, we are considering new projects in Cameroon and India.
AwF has many connections with Marlow
AwF is a charity that has its roots firmly in Marlow. It was founded here and two of its Directors live here. We have been very lucky to have received considerable support from the local community. Businesses, shops, church groups, restaurants, hotels and pubs, to mention just a few, have helped us fund raise in the past and we hope that this support will continue!
The South Place Marlow Street Party
On 12 July 2008, the residents of South Place Marlow will be holding our third Street Party in aid of AwF. We raised over £4,400 for AwF in 2006 and over £5,100 in 2007. Help us beat this in 2008!
